So you’re thinking of asking your true love to marry you? Well congratulations on getting this far!
Before we start, I have a little present for you! As a thank you for visiting Engagement Proposal Ideas and to wish you good luck for your lifetime of happiness with your special lady, I would like to recommend to you an awesome book on the best Marriage Proposals! It’s a fantastic book which will enable you to really impress her!
Now lets get started! If you’re like most guys, then I’m sure you’re agonizing over exactly How To Propose Marriage! Remember that 80% of women polled were disappointed with their engagement proposal. Also I’m sure you realize that when women announce to their friends that they’re now engaged, the first thing they are always asked is “How did he propose?” This can put enormous pressure on men to get it right so luckily we are here to help! We have some great Engagement Proposal Ideas, but which ever idea you go for, it is important to remember these things:
1. If you take an idea from a website or a suggestion from anywhere else, make sure you don’t make it a carbon copy. Make it unique to the two of you, using your own memories and shared experiences and not somebody else’s.

2. It’s not all about how much you spend on the proposal! Some of the Best Engagement Proposal Ideas ideas are the least expensive!
3. Consider the kind of girl she is! If she’s the shy type then she might not appreciate a public proposal at a sporting event! If she’s an extravert then proposing during an intimate dinner may be disappointing for her!
4. Make sure to include little touches that are really meaningful to the two of you ie; where you met, how you met, the first flowers you bought her, the first movie you watched or meal you cooked her, perhaps even an anniversary! These are the little details she will be telling her friends and will remember forever!
5. If you’re thinking about proposing on holiday then stop and think why! Have the two of you been there before and shared in a special experience there? It’s far better to propose at the spot you first met or had your first picnic than flying across the world to propose somewhere you’ve never been!
6. You will need to plan you proposal out in every minute detail! Don’t leave anything to chance. Have a contingency plan in case something goes wrong and above all…try and surprise her! You will be more likely to successfully surprise her if you think about every detail and little mishap that might happen!
I hope the following engagement proposal ideas give you inspiration and that
she says yes!

Take A Hike
No not her reply to you…I mean literally! Hopefully you know some cool hiking places far away from other people. If not then go find a tranquil area complete with waterfall!
This is especially a cool idea if she’s into all that kind of stuff!
So pack all her favourite food and some champagne. Make sure not to get too intoxicated as to make your isolated trip home too dangerous!
Take her under a waterfall and propose there and then, on one knee of course! She’ll love it! Don’t even think about hiding the ring under a rock or I’ll come and steal it myself! Don’t think I’m joking!

Another reason why this is one of my favourites: If you’re out of cell phone range, she has to postpone the 7000 announcement calls she has to make…truly hilarious! Though one drawback is the fact you could have numerous unannounced tourists with back packs and annoying thick green knitted jumpers strolling in at any moment!
Hot Air Balloon
This one is a bit cliché, but will really get the both of you in the mood and will create a magical experience.
Make sure you pack all her favourite food, a nice bottle of champagne and some romantic music! Wait until you’re over some really nice scenery to do it! Please don’t drop the ring!
The only and obvious drawback is that you’ve got the company of the hot air balloon operator who’s going to have to pretend he’s not noticing anything! I hope he doesn’t put you off!
I hope these romantic marriage proposals have given you something to think about, why not see Engagement Proposal Ideas from the beginning for more suggestions!
I also suggest you take a look at Marriage Proposal Ideas for some of the most creative proposals ever conceived!
